Hi, I'm Dave, the Managing Partner and founder of CommsHAWK.
I joined BT back in 1983 as an Apprentice Telephone Exchange Engineer under the watchful eye of my mentor and now Business Partner Len...
I left BT in 1990 to join Pacific-Telesis as their UK Technology Manager, then moving onto other companies and roles within the Telecom's Sector up to Director level.
I then identified a gap in the market for procuring Telco kit and services, thus CommsHAWK was born. I developed the site and idea, bringing Len on board to help get it to market, so here we are!
Live with my partner, Lisa and our Whippet - Smudge, spent the last few years extending our property, love the outdoor and I my interests include Diving, 4WD, Shooting...and err Cider.
The happiest of people don't necessarily have the best of everything, rather, they make the most of everything that comes their way!

Hi I’m Len Managing Partner of CommsHAWK
Senior partner in age and experience only, should have retired by now but chose to work with "CommsHAWK" because it’s a great idea --- and David insisted.
Joined the GPO as a lad in 1972 and enjoyed a career delivering and supporting Telco’s all my life, I progressed into engineering management then into BT Global as programme manager. Then Account Director for AXA before moving to Liverpool Direct to support their modernisation programme.
Reuniting for a BT event Dave outlined his ideas to address a GAP in the procurement market and CommsHAWK was born. The rest is history.
Married for 40 years to long suffering Janet, Supported Ormskirk scouting for 25 years with my children and being challenged to return with my grand children. Keen caravaner because Janet says I have to be!! Enjoy cycling but not over keen on cars hitting me at 70mph - that hurts.
Dream what you want to dream, go where you want to go, be what you want to be. Because you have only one life and one chance to do all the things you want to do.
Life is for living and should be fun if it's not your in the wrong job. "Meliora Cogito" (I strive for the best)
